This policy aims to achieve the following:

3. Embodying a positive image and a model to be emulated by adopting responsible behavior towards society, customers, and stakeholders.
4. Instilling values aimed at contributing to building the community and future generations.
5. Embedding the principle of sustainability in all aspects of the company's operations and community work.
6. Adopting relevant local standards, international standards, and best practices in the fields of social responsibility and sustainability, such as the Sustainable Development Goals of Saudi Vision 2030 and national sustainability standards.
7. Disclosing the company's social responsibility objectives, plans, programs, and initiatives through relevant periodic reports.

 

Second, the general policy:

Rusukh specialized company carries out its activities related to social responsibility and sustainability and allocates an annual budget to support its programs and activities. Rusukh specialized company aims to achieve the following:

 

• Launching effective initiatives and programs in the fields of social responsibility and sustainability that ensure a balance between the company's objectives and the community's aspirations.

• Developing educational and awareness programs for the community in partnership with the government and private sectors in line with Saudi Vision 2030.

• Applying the best global practices in the fields of social responsibility and sustainability.

• Conducting research and field studies aimed at proposing solutions to social issues through new programs.

• Training and qualifying young people to enable them to enter the job market.

• Promoting the culture of volunteer work among the company's employees and encouraging their participation in volunteer work to support national efforts to achieve one of the most important pillars of Saudi Vision 2030.

• Sharing Rusukh specialized company's experience and success stories in the field of social responsibility and sustainability to inspire others to follow suit.

Areas of focus and long-term program portfolio:

 

The company's priorities in sustainable development have been identified by conducting in-depth interviews with key stakeholders and developing an expert team to determine the strategic scope matrix for working on the areas that aim to intersect community needs with the company's capabilities and status. This process enabled us to choose the most needed focus areas, and the long-term portfolio includes the following:

 

Environmental conservation through waste reduction:

• Supporting, developing, and adopting programs and initiatives to reduce waste within supply chains and the community, including food waste.

• Supporting, developing, and adopting programs and initiatives for waste management in general and food waste in particular.

• Supporting and developing programs and initiatives to raise awareness of sustainability issues related to waste targeting business sectors.

 

Empowering people with disabilities:

• Supporting, developing, and adopting programs and initiatives to empower people with disabilities through training and employment, including applying the principle of equal opportunities for people with disabilities.

• Comprehensive accessibility standards in the workplace and promoting a culture of dealing with people with disabilities in the workplace, among other initiatives, whether at the company level or outside it.

• Participating in research and workshops related to issues of employment, qualification, and training for people with disabilities, whether at the company level or outside it.

 

Youth skills development:

• Supporting, developing, and adopting programs and initiatives to develop professional and technical skills for youth in areas related to the company's business to qualify them to meet the needs of the market and the ability to establish their own businesses.

 

Supporting related establishments:

• Supporting, developing, and adopting programs and initiatives to support small and medium-sized enterprises, considering the possibility of benefiting from their outputs internally and increasing their ability to communicate and cooperate with larger companies with the aim of contributing to raising their production level.

• Referring to local and international standards in this field and then identifying the goals closest to the business of small and medium-sized enterprises.

Final provisions (Publication and Amendments)

• The company shall abide by the provisions of this policy, effective from the date of approval by the CEO of Rusukh Company.

• This policy shall be published on the company's website, under the governance policies section, to enable external stakeholders and the public to access it.

• The content of this policy shall be reviewed as needed, based on a recommendation from the company's sustainability governance committee, with any amendments to be presented and approved by the specialized CEO of Rusukh Company.
